Position: Restaurant Host, Living Room

Who are we?

Estelle Manor is a rural retreat set on an 85-acre estate in Oxfordshire. The manor has four restaurants, an extraordinary 3,000 sq metre Roman-inspired spa - Eynsham Baths, 108 bedrooms and a gym with class studios and padel courts. Plus, there is a kids’ club for the little ones and a workspace.

We are currently looking for a passionate Restaurant Host to join our Living Room team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £32,716.96 per annum per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £26,476.96, plus a qualified estimate of £6,000 in gratuities and service charge*. Please note this role is paid hourly so this is a projected salary and OTE.

Overview
  • Creating and nurturing a warm, welcoming and lasting impressions for our guests and members.
  • Striving to build genuine, lasting relationships with all guests and members.
  • Seating diners at their tables and efficiently managing the flow of arrivals to our restaurants.
  • Capturing all member information and recording it on their guest profiles.
  • Being aware of all VIP members and their guests visiting us and ensuring that the team are tailoring the experience appropriately.
  • Effectively communicating any dietary requirements or special guests to the restaurant team during team briefings and on guest arrival.
  • Anticipating members needs and providing them with a personalised experience, putting into place a plan for surprise and delight moments.
Who we are looking for?

A Restaurant Host who will create a warm and welcoming first impression for our members. You will oversee the guest journey in our Living Room, Library and Terrace spaces from pre-arrival to post-visit, answer any member enquiries and strive to go the extra mile to ensure every member receives genuine and personalised service when visiting Estelle Manor.

  • Experience managing the daily operations, set up, standards, operating procedures.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results to deadlines.
  • Someone who takes responsibility and initiative to explore issues and to generate new ideas with creative thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about hosting and delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail.

About gratuities & service charge
  • Gratuities (tips) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
