A specialist, employee-owned environmental consultancy is looking for an enthusiastic early-career Occupational Hygienist / Indoor Air Quality Consultant to join its expanding team. The company focuses on dust and air quality monitoring, consultancy services, equipment development, and laboratory analysis.

Role Overview- Carry out occupational exposure assessments (dust, fibres, VOCs, gases and more) across a range of site types.
- Produce clear, accurate interpretative technical reports.
- Contribute to noise exposure work and LEV testing (training available).
- Assist with handling client enquiries, preparing quotes, and supporting new business opportunities.
The role is mainly office-based, with frequent travel to sites throughout the UK and potential for hybrid working once fully trained.
Candidate Profile Essential- At least 1 year of experience in occupational or industrial hygiene, including monitoring airborne contaminants and noise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong technical report writing ability.
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage and interpret large datasets.
- Solid understanding of COSHH, EH40, and key MDHS methods.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
- BOHS membership.
- Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Awareness of indoor air quality standards (e.g., BREEAM).
- Experience in LEV testing or handling sales/enquiry processes.
- Strong customer service skills and confidence in client‑facing and lone‑working scenarios.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away from home.
