We’re looking for a passionate Outreach Tutor to support students who cannot attend mainstream education due to SEN, SEMH, or risk of permanent exclusion. The role involves one‑to‑one and group sessions in subjects such as basic Maths, English, PSHE, interventions, and mentoring, conducted at pupils’ homes, local libraries, and schools. A current Enhanced DBS is essential.

• Providing personalised tutoring sessions to students of diverse ages and abilities.
• Inspiring and motivating students to overcome obstacles and achieve their academic goals.
• Building strong connections with students and their families through clear communication and genuine care.
• Adapting teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style and needs.
• Incorporating cutting‑edge educational technology and resources to enhance the learning experience.

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with diverse age groups.
• QTS (QTLS), PGCE or Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Maths, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for student success.
• Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
• Current Enhanced DBS check.
