Responsibilitiesand Requirements
- Masters of Pharmacy Degree
- Registered member of General Pharmaceutical Council
- Independent Prescribing qualification or undertakes to complete within reasonable timescale.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload
- Experience in patient information/education
- Ability to effectively monitor patients’ therapeutic regimens in order to ensure effectiveness and reduce toxicity
- Able to work under their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Commitment to revalidation as per directions of General Pharmaceutical Council
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self motivation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate customer awareness/focus
- Participation in weekends and public holiday service
- Participation in pharmacy emergency duty
- Willingness to contribute to the general working of the pharmacy department
- Ability to effectively monitor patients’ therapeutic regimens in order to ensure effectiveness and reduce toxicity (alternate phrasing as applicable)

This role will be based in Pharmacy within University Hospital Wishaw.
