Job Description
Central Sawdust of Wisconsin LLC located in Merrill, WIis seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Local Truck Driver with a CDL Class B license to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the transportation of various products, including wood, landscaping materials, and agricultural goods. No experience is required, as we are willing to provide training for the right candidate who possesses a valid CDL Class B license.

Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods locally and across state lines.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with federal and state regulations.
Load and unload cargo, securing items properly to prevent damage during transit.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date driving logs, fuel records, and other necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
Follow all applicable traffic laws and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). while driving.
Participate in ongoing training and safety programs to improve driving skills and knowledge.
Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL Class B license.
Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
Ability to operate a commercial truck safely and efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically capable of loading and unloading cargo, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
