We are seeking a Bulk Truck Driver for Ready Mix Corp. in Marathon, Wisconsin.
Job SummaryThe Bulk Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting bulk cement, fly ash, or slag from the port to various company locations. This role requires compliance with DOT regulations, company safety standards, and strong communication with dispatchers and plant personnel. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and committed to excellent customer service.
Job Duties- Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations to transport bulk materials.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections on equipment.
- Ensure accurate placement and securement of cargo.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and perform routine preventive maintenance.
Unload materials using approved methods and follow all safety protocols. - Communicate consistently with dispatch and maintain professional customer interactions.
- Complete delivery tickets and ensure accurate documentation.
- Primarily inside truck cab with some outdoor exposure.
- Frequent travel between company locations and ports.
- Exposure to loud noise, vibration, and seasonal weather conditions.
- Overtime may be required during peak seasons.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while driving; occasional standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
- Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally (hoses and tools).
- Requires good vision (close, distance, peripheral, depth perception) and hearing for safe operation.
- CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience required; training provided for dump truck procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and reliability.
- Knowledge of industry practices and procedures.
