A Youth Apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain new skills and get paid while still in school! EK's Power Products division designs, develops, produces, and tests unique generator packaging solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding environments and applications.

The Electrical YA will work alongside our licensed electricians, learning the entire process from start to finish. Under direct supervision of a mentor, you will assist the Electrical department by performing the following duties:

• Studies blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the electrical components to install and the assembly sequence.
• Assembles and installs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery and equipment.
• Bends and installs conduit.
• Assembles functional parts of enclosures and tanks using hand tools, levels and straight edges.
• Follows work instructions from general description.
• Confers with supervisor or others to resolve assembly problems.
• Cleans and organizes work area.

Education:
