Overview
Traveling Foreman / Team Lead – Concrete & Site Services
Asphalt Contractors, Inc. (ACI)
Asphalt Contractors, Inc. (ACI) is hiring an experienced and dependable Traveling Foreman / Team Lead to oversee crews on out-of-town concrete and site service projects. This role is hands-on and field-based, leading crews while actively working alongside them. Projects typically require travel for 7 to 14 days at a time.

Responsibilities- Lead and work alongside a traveling crew performing concrete flatwork and repairs, fence and bollard installation, pavement striping, sign installation, sprinkler and irrigation system installation, dock door installation, repair and maintenance, and light welding and fabrication work.
- Direct daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members while keeping production on schedule.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to ACI quality standards.
- Communicate job progress, material needs, and jobsite issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
- Assist with jobsite logistics, material coordination, and care of tools and equipment.
- Represent ACI professionally while working at customer locations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Strong working knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Typical workdays range from 8 to 12 hours.
- Ability to problem solve in the field and keep work moving.
- Previous experience in concrete, site work, or similar construction roles.
- Prior foreman, lead, or crew leadership experience is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly for extended periods of 7 to 14 days at a time.
- Strong commitment to safety and jobsite organization.
- Positive attitude and ability to lead by example.
- Reliable, organized, and capable of managing a small crew.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
