Bayland Buildings is actively seeking to fill a Field Support/Tool Repair position to work at our Green Bay locations and neighboring jobsites. This position includes full-time employment, year-round work, complete with competitive compensation and benefits, and the opportunity to be part of our employee-owned company!
Core Responsibilities:- Ensure the cleanliness of company vehicles, equipment and premises
- Load/Unload trucks and execute delivery of fuel, small equipment and materials in accordance with company safety and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain and ensure the cleanliness/organization of the yard, facilities and property.
- Maintenance tasks which may include sweeping, yard and shop upkeep/maintenance, operating a forklift and assisting with tracking inventory
- Tool and Equipment Repair
- Understand and follow a safe and quality work culture
Qualifications:
- Building Material Knowledge preferred
- Experience/Knowledge of repairing/maintenance on tools and equipment
- Valid DL
- Must have satisfactory driving record - Strong Communication and organizational skills with detail orientation to ensure day-to-day smooth operations
- Strong time management, multitasking skills and capable of determining priorities on a tight schedule
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects regularly (0-50 lbs ground to shoulder, 0-80 lbs ground to carry height)
- Ability to perform physical labor
- Ability to operate hand/power tools and equipment
