Overview

Omni Glass & Paint is hiring a full-time Glazier to join our skilled construction team in Oshkosh, WI. Since 1967, we've built a strong reputation across Wisconsin for quality commercial glass installation in schools, hospitals, office buildings, storefronts, and more. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and opportunities for long-term advancement. You'll work alongside experienced glaziers on a wide range of commercial construction projects.

What You'll Do
  • Install glass and glazing systems on commercial buildings, including storefront doors and systems, curtain walls, and large-scale glass windows.
  • Work with materials such as glass, composite panels, and polycarbonate, using framing systems including aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings; accurately measure and cut materials.
  • Install interior and exterior commercial glass systems.
  • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and customers to keep projects on schedule and meet quality expectations.
  • Follow all safety protocols on every job site; safety is a top priority.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a four-year glazing apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • Four to ten years of relevant commercial glazing experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
  • Ability to read blueprints, perform basic layout and measurement math, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Experience with glazing hardware, commercial glass systems, and related materials is a plus.
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and able to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
