Commercial Carpenter

Location: West Milwaukee

We can't keep up with the demand for commercial carpentry in the Southeastern Wisconsin area! AM Construction Services, Inc. needs carpenters of all experience levels to join our dedicated commercial carpentry team. Are you a hard worker willing to learn the trade of rough or finished carpentry? We want you! Are you a crafty carpentry veteran looking for greener pastures?

Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret blueprints and plans

* Measure, cut, and shape lumber into multiple structural components

* Assemble the framework using nails, screws, and fasteners

* Verify final work meets original specifications and is in compliance with building codes and regulations

* Maintain a clean, organized job site and dispose of waste material properly

* Troubleshoot any problems and make repairs or adjustments where needed

* Build exterior walls, roofs and stairwells

* Rough interior walls and floors

* Install cabinetry and doors

Skills:

* Proficiency in reading blueprints

* Ability to measure, cut and shape wood

* Critical thinking

* Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments

Qualifications:

* Sense of hustle

* Willingness to learn

Education Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED

Experience:
