Electrical Maintenance Technician

KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening in our Maintenance Department for an Electrical Maintenance Technician
.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician Position maintains and troubleshoots current production equipment. This position will have an emphasis on electrical work.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, install and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and control equipment.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machine electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand the layout of electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit diagrams.
• Familiarity with electrical codes standards, and safety regulations

• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete projects and improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Be highly motivated and have a positive attitude

This is a first shift position. The hours are primarily 5a-2p Monday - Friday with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).

Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. and know how to read shop orders. Must have ability to work on feet for long periods of time. Candidate must pay attention to quality and detail work at a continuous pace and be able to work with minimal supervision. Successful completion of a drug screen is required for all employees. Advanced technical education is preferred.
