Location: Town of Arcadia
Facility Electrician 1st shift (M-F 6a-2:30p)
Ashley Furniture is seeking a skilled Licensed Facility Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems throughout our facilities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient operations and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Respond to emergency electrical issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions
- Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
- Maintain safe working conditions and follow OSHA safety standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections of electrical systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of all electrical work performed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Install and maintain lighting systems, motors, transformers, and control systems
- Work with 480V three-phase power systems and motor controls
- Coordinate with maintenance team and contractors on electrical projects
Required Qualifications
- Valid electrical license (Journeyman or Master Electrician)
- Minimum 3-5 years of industrial/commercial electrical experience
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Experience with 480V three-phase systems
- Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments
- Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
- OSHA safety certification
- Experience with energy management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders and lifts
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions
- Full-time position with potential for overtime and on-call rotation
- Flexibility for emergency response situations
