Snow Plow Operator

Carpenter & Costin is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Plow Drivers for the upcoming snow season, from the end of November through March. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and accessibility of our assigned areas by effectively managing snow plowing and de-icing operations. • Operate trucks equipped with snowplows and sanders to remove ice and snow from designated areas, which may require early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays.
• Respond promptly when called to assist in snow plowing operations.
• Ensure that all assigned areas are adequately and safely plowed and de-iced as required.
• Regularly inspect equipment and adhere to safety precautions.
• Maintain all equipment necessary for snow removal.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and regulations, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Report any incidents involving equipment functionality to supervisors.

• Valid and insurable driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions for extended periods
• Willingness to work extended hours depending on the storm
• Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations
• Flexibility to work various hours, including days, nights, and weekends

$30/hour - This position is when it snows or after a snow/ice event.
