As a Security Officer – Entry Control at our Elm Grove logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, direct visitors and drivers, and monitor cameras and alarm panels for security‑related activity. You will complete routine patrols and detailed reports, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service.

Part‑time shifts are available from Monday through Friday. Choose your schedule to fit your life.

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following site‑specific policies, access control procedures, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit at the access point by verifying identification, managing visitor and vendor check‑in and/or check‑out, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining required access logs.
• Support logistics and distribution operations by coordinating with dispatch and site contacts to route inbound and outbound truck traffic, confirm appointment information, and direct vehicles to designated staging and dock areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership or emergency services when required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, yard space, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require reporting or corrective action.

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Background investigation required as condition of employment.
• Drug screen required as condition of employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
