Consumers Cooperative is seeking a friendly and reliable

Part-Time Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have apassion for customer service and food preparation, and be committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality. As a Deli Associate, youwill play a key role in delivering an excellent shopping experience by providing fresh, high-quality deli products and exceptional customer service. Must be 18+ to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

1.
** Customer Service**

- Greet customerswarmly and assist them with their deli selections.

- Provide information on deli products, including ingredients and preparation methods.

- Use suggestiveselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience.

- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

2.
** Food Preparation and Presentation**

- Prepare deliitems, such as sandwiches, pizzas, and hot foods, according to company recipes and standards.

- Ensure food ispresented attractively and maintain fresh stock levels throughout the shift.

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality products.

3.
** Deli Operations**

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including counters, displaycases, and equipment.

- Assist withstocking shelves, rotating products, and ensuring the deli area is fully stocked and well-organized.

- Work effectively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient deli operation.

- Communicate anyproduct shortages or issues to the deli manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

** Previous experience in a deli, food service, or retail environment is preferred but not required.

* Skills:

** Strong customer service skills, basic math skills for handling transactions, and good communication abilities.

* Physical Requirements:

** Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform tasks that require reaching,bending, and stooping.

Working Conditions:
