Shift Manager

Job Summary

Shift Manager at McDonald’s restaurant – responsible for leading shifts, ensuring quality service, safety, and profitability.

• Lead shifts every week, providing leadership to crew and other managers.
• Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift.
• Take action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards, including food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, and security.
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager.
• Help assigned departments meet their goals and achieve targets during shifts.
• Manage crew, inventory, scheduling, training, and daily maintenance.

• At least 18 years old.
• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
