Dining Supervisor, Immigrant Room

Opportunity:
The Dining Supervisor II provides support to the restaurant management team through supervision of front‑of‑house staff and a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Manage all guest requests, complaints, and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership. The role requires the ability to work in more than one outlet and to fill in as Dining Floor Manager as needed.

• Support management with daily administrative tasks including purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control, and filing.
• Accurately process all new‑hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner.
• Reconcile all operational paperwork including guest receipts and vendor invoices.
• Work with staff and management to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels.
• Greet guests, present the menu, and inform them about special items and menu changes.
• Suggest food and beverages to guests using appropriate upselling methods.
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the POS system.
• Process payment transactions.
• Clear and reset table settings and linens as needed.
• Communicate with guests and provide assistance with questions.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.
• Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.
• Prepare mixed drinks for service to the customer’s table (must be 18 or over and licensed).
• Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.
• Help other areas of the restaurant.
• Train front‑of‑house staff.
• Assist with supervising the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.
• Resolve escalated guest concerns.
• Create and execute special projects and assignments.
• Assist in answering telephone calls from guests.
• Perform the responsibilities of servers, bartenders, and host/ess as needed.
• Cross‑train to work in more than one outlet.

This is a full‑time position with hours between 2:00 pm and 12:00 am.

• Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.
• Must be 18 years old.
• 5+ years’ experience in restaurant.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, climbing or balancing, and stooping or kneeling.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate’s education and work location.
