Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Permanent Quality Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality systems and processes to ensure the highest level of product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Oversee the quality assurance function within the manufacturing process, ensuring all products meet the requisite standards and specifications.Implement and manage Lean Manufacturing principles to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, thereby improving product quality and reducing costs.Conduct regular quality audits, identifying areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective measures.Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations to identify underlying causes of quality issues and develop effective solutions to prevent recurrence.Develop and maintain quality systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Train and mentor staff members on quality assurance procedures and standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with other departments, such as Production and Engineering, to drive quality initiatives and ensure consistent production of high-quality products.Monitor and report on quality metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on the performance of the quality system.Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry.Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Auditing, and Root Cause Analysis.Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively and efficiently.Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving quality objectives.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as MS Office and quality management systems.If you are a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to quality, we would love to hear from you.
