Overview
DVM Student Externship - Omro Animal Hospital, part of Heartland Veterinary Partners, offers veterinary students an externship to gain hands-on experience and mentorship to become practice-ready by their first day in practice.
Position PurposeHeartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st–4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship. Externships are typically 2 weeks long. Heartland will cover lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
About Omro Animal HospitalOmro Animal Hospital was founded in 1954 as a mixed animal practice. In 2007, it shifted to a companion animal practice. We perform routine exams, vaccinations, and surgeries. We have a Winneconne location that can do routine wellness exams by appointment. We are excited to announce the construction of a brand-new facility to continue providing compassionate, quality pet care to our patients and the community.
Requirements/Qualifications- Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School - Must be able to provide student PLIT
