Job Description for Park Maintenance Technician at Calumet County.
Responsibilities- Maintain and clean park trails, grounds, beaches, landings, structures, rest rooms, and other park facilities and grounds.
- Operate a variety of powered equipment to carry out duties.
- Make minor repairs on equipment.
- Prepare required records and reports.
- Register campers and other park patrons and respond to park visitors’ needs or problems.
- Collect park fees where necessary.
- Report to proper authority any problems regarding park operations.
- Empty and clean waste and trash containers.
- Ability to work effectively with the public.
- Ability to prepare accurate records.
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
- Ability to work independently evenings and weekends.
