What will I do as an RN Manager?- Assume responsibility for supervision and evaluation of nursing care for the 36 long term care beds at Masonic Health Care Center Actively manage and participate in the admission/discharge process.
- Under the Director of Nursing, supervise and evaluate licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel.
- Assist the physician in giving pertinent medical attention and care to residents in a family-like atmosphere.
- Coordinate clinical training for Nursing Department staff per regulations and facility needs. Respond in emergency situations to assure resident/staff safety and security.
- Minimum education, certification and/or licensure:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin, BSN preferred. - Must have valid CPR, and infection control (CIC) certification.
- Experience:
Previous geriatric experience and two or more years supervisory experience.
