• Minimum education, certification and/or licensure:
  Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Wisconsin, BSN preferred. Must have valid CPR, and infection control (CIC) certification.
• Experience:
  
  Previous geriatric experience and two or more years supervisory experience.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Walk or stand constantly, and able to squat, kneel, twist, sit and bend periodically. Able to frequently push/pull objects weighing 60 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects weighing 100 pounds or more. Visual acuity up to 100 feet. Hearing ability within the high decibel range and the normal range of a voice. Legible penmanship.
• Mental requirements:
  Knowledge of OBRA, state and federal regulations as applied to long term care. Able to plan, direct and supervise nursing care of the infirm aged. Ability to direct, instruct and supervise licensed and other nursing personnel. Handle hostile or emotionally upset residents, staff, etc. Able to focus on fine detail with constant interruption. Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Computer knowledge:
  Microsoft office. Ability to learn and use computer applications as they apply to job duties.

• Assume responsibility for supervision and evaluation of nursing care for the 36 long term care beds at Masonic Health Care Center Actively manage and participate in the admission/discharge process.
• Under the Director of Nursing, supervise and evaluate licensed and non‑licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist the physician in giving pertinent medical attention and care to residents in a family like atmosphere.
• Coordinate clinical training for Nursing Department staff per regulations and facility needs. Respond in emergency situations to assure resident/staff safety and security.
