• Under the supervision of an assigned Nurse Supervisor, perform resident/patient care activities and related services necessary for caring for personal needs, safety, and comfort.
• Assist in providing a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while following all center policies & procedures.

• Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program.
• Ability to communicate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and other staff.
• Special interest in, and positive attitude about, working with long‑term care residents/patients and the elderly.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Meet all health requirements as required by law.
