Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN

NEW Care, Inc. is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is dependable, energetic, and compassionate to join our team of exceptional caregivers. We are looking for a full-time applicant to join us. Hours will alternate between days and nights. We offer competitive wages, along with shift differential pay for certain hours of work.

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient.
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.

• 1 year experience as an LPN.
• Current state license as an LPN.
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing.
• Proof of current CPR certification; or ability to get certified.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.

• Shift differential information:
  Every weekend with a $5.00/hour shift differential; hours between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. include a $1.50/hour shift differential.
