Licensed Practical Nurse - Full-Time/Part-Time/Casual All Shifts

North Shore Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in a post-acute setting. Work is scheduled for multiple shifts, including nights and weekends.

Under the supervision of the RN Unit Manager or Director of Nursing (DON), the LPN performs licensed caregiving, coordinates patient care, and supervises nursing assistants. The LPN follows Center policies, the State Nurse Practice Act, and maintains resident/patient safety.

• Provide direct LPN-level care to residents/patients, including feeding, bathing, medication administration, and monitoring.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating residents’/patient’s care plans.
• Use feeding pumps, oxygen therapy, and medication carts as required.
• Calculate drug dosages accurately.
• Document all care activities and report changes to the RN unit manager.
• Follow all Center policies and procedures, and adhere to the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain a safe environment and supervise nursing assistants during shifts.

• LPN licensure in the State, current CPR certification.
• Ability to use feeding pumps, oxygen, medication carts, and drug dosage calculations.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and staff; basic computer proficiency.
• Basic English reading, writing, and speaking.
