Staff Nurse (RN/LPN) - Part-Time 1st Shift

Join the North Shore Health team as a Staff Nurse (RN/LPN) on a part‑time 1st shift schedule. We are looking for dedicated licensed nurses to care for residents in our skilled nursing facilities across the Upper Midwest.

Under the supervision of the Unit Manager / ADON / DON, the RN/LPN assumes responsibility for a group of residents/patients during a shift. Nursing care is provided through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care. Responsibilities include managing the environment to maintain safety, supervising nursing assistants and helpers, and following North Shore’s policies, the State Nurse Practice Act, and JCAHO standards.

• Provide nursing care for assigned residents during the shift.
• Assess, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
• Maintain resident/patient safety and manage environment.
• Supervise nursing assistants and helpers.
• Follow North Shore policies, procedures, and act in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Adhere to applicable JCAHO standards.

• Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.).
• Competency in calculating drug dosage.
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law.
• Positive, effective, appropriate interpersonal skills with residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak, understand).
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company applications.
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment preferred.
• Prior post‑acute care experience desired.
