Emergency Department RN – per diem or Resource Pool Position

Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CEN preferred. Competitive certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC or willingness to obtain are required. Prior emergency/trauma nursing experience highly preferred.

The ED RN will be responsible for total nursing care of patients presenting to the ED/Urgent Care Department. Assess patient conditions, evaluate and implement nursing care plans in accordance with appropriate ED nursing standards. Work with other members of the ED Team under the direction of the ED Physician to provide patient care. Provide information and education to patients and families about care plans and goals and the rationale for the plans and goals.

• Provide total nursing care to patients in the ED/Urgent Care Department.
