OverviewFLSA:
Non-Exempt. This is a technical nursing position for Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living, to which employees are appointed by the Director of Nursing Services. Employees work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Provides care within the provisions of the Nurse Practice Act. [3]
Under supervision of a registered nurse, provides direct nursing care including administering medications and treatments. [1]
Assists in the training and orientation of new personnel. [1]
Evaluates resident needs and assists with the development and implementation of nursing care plans. [2]
Makes clinical observations of resident conditions and behavior and makes accurate and complete nursing notes of those observations in the clinical record. [2]
Works safely and follows safety practices and standards of the facility; responsible for reporting or correcting any existing or potential safety or accident hazard. [2]
Maintains residents rights and confidentiality of resident information; reports all suspected cases of resident abuse to the Administrator. [3]
