OverviewFLSA:
Non-Exempt Individuals in this position perform environmental-related and non-direct care tasks at Lakeview Health Center. Tasks as assigned under the direction of the nursing manager. Employees will be selected and supervised by the Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Supervising Registered Nurse.
- Flexible 3–5 hour shifts every other weekend plus a few weekday afternoons.
- Work with residents who have dementia and mental health diagnoses.
- Comfortable supporting individuals who may display challenging behaviors.
- This is a non-certified position, requiring no personal cares for residents.
Pay depends on experience!
$14.31/hour and $16.31/hour on weekends with differential.

- Straightens closets, drawers and nightstands.
- Cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming of floors, dusting, cleaning fixtures and furniture and emptying garbage cans.
- Assures that resident's rooms are kept neat and organized.
- Passes clean towels and wash cloths, picks up used linen/clothing, stocks linen shelves, carts, closets, etc.
- Cleans equipment, and personal care items, as directed.
- Puts resident clothing away in closets and drawers.
- Pick up spa rooms after use.
- Monitors areas or activities and location of residents as assigned.
- Engages residents in diversional activities (i.e., games, reading, walks).
- Answers telephone and directs calls.
- Directs visitors to appropriate areas.
- Assists in transporting wheelchair residents.
- Accompanies residents to appointments outside the facility.
- Assists in the dining room, as directed, with the exception to assisting residents with meals and snacks.
- Provides observation of residents as directed by the supervisor.
- Works safely and follows safety practices and standards of the facility; responsible for reporting or correcting any existing or potential safety or accident hazard.
