Job Location:
Waukesha, WI.
- Provide direct patient care for developmentally disabled residents.
- Assess, plan, organize, administer, and evaluate individualized care for residents.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a registered nurse in Wisconsin.
- Must be licensed in Wisconsin by the time of appointment.
- Knowledge of current general nursing theory, the nursing process, and nursing standards.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime or extra hours.
- Experience applying nursing techniques to meet the needs of the developmentally disabled patient population at SWC (well‑qualified).
Experience participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, other RNs). - Experience providing effective direction and overseeing the work of other nursing team members.
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written methods.
