Seasonal PRN status with a full‑time schedule, running from 9/21/25 to 4/4/26. Rate: $62/hr plus applicable differentials.
- Minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
- Opportunity to float to another facility in the same geographic area if emergent staffing is needed.
- Four weekend shifts required every four‑week cycle.
- Two holiday shifts during the 32‑week period as defined by the Department Manager.
- PRN employees first‑call‑off; no guaranteed hours.
- Eligible for 401(k) and other retirement contributions but not for other benefits.
- No shift‑bonus eligibility.
- One opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation.
- Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the 2025‑26 seasonal program.
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care using the nursing model “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” You will advocate for patients, families, and caregivers and support an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document all care promptly and thoroughly.
- Respond quickly to patient requests and anticipate patient needs.
- Teach patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology for understanding.
- Encourage healthy lifestyle changes and prepare patients/ families for future self‑management.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course within 1 year of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention or Satori Alternatives Manager‑Aggression certification within 1 year.
