• 2nd and 3rd SHIFT OPERATORS WANTED!
• $19/HOUR TO START PLUS $2/HR 3RD SHIFT PREMIUM!

Indeck Ladysmith Biofuel Center, an established producer of high quality wood pellets based in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, is seeking candidates to fill Process & Equipment Operator positions.

Some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable, and experience in operating forklifts and larger wheeled industrial equipment is desired. Qualified individuals must be safety-oriented, reliable, willing to cross train, and accept shift work. Ability to perform light duty maintenance is a plus.

Other duties may be assigned. Selected individuals will monitor key manufacturing processes & safely operate industrial equipment to ensure product consistency and production efficiency including one or more of the following:

• Chipper-Debarker - Operate log infeed conveyor, debarker, chipper, and radial stacker to provide a proper material flow to the process. Must be able to recognize various species of wood and maintain effective communication with other operators to insure proper mix is provided.
• Front
  -End Loader - Operate high volume wheeled loader to receive, stage, and provide proper material flow to the process. Must be able to maintain effective communication with plant personnel to insure proper wood mix and product consistency.
• Packaging Line – Operate a state-of-the-art automated packaging line. Maximizing output, keeping the packaging line supplied with material components, proper bag and unit labeling, and full responsibility for final package appearance are key duties. Maintaining a tidy and clean workspace utilizing good housekeeping practices is required.
• Forklift Operation – Operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) is required in conjunction with operating the package line. Forklifts are utilized transport and stack finished units along with loading trucks and railcars.

Education: Applicants should have a High School Diploma/GED.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Pass a background check.
