Heavy Equipment & Rail Operations Specialist – $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!- Location: Cambria, WI
- Schedule: Day or Night Shift (Night = +$3/hr premium + 40 additional PTO hours!)
- 6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 schedule OR 6pm-6am on a 4 on/4 off schedule
- Compensation: $26–$29/hr
Didion is hiring a Heavy Equipment & Rail Operations Specialist to support safe and efficient movement of materials across our rail and truck operations. This is a critical role with hands‑on responsibility and meaningful impact—and you’ll join a team known for its strong culture, real development opportunities, and people who truly care about each other.
- Heavy equipment that keeps production moving
- Safely operate and inspect equipment
- Support truck & rail loadouts
- Perform conductor/ground duties in the rail yard
- Keep equipment clean, maintained & ready
- Use tech tools for scheduling & documentation
- Stay sharp on safety and food-quality standards
- HS diploma/GED
- Experience with heavy equipment or locomotives a plus
- Manufacturing or food-safe experience helpful
- Problem-solving mindset
- Independence and strong teamwork
- Reliability + strong work ethic
- Lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, work at heights (20’+)
- Work in heat, cold, dust, and noise
- Communicate clearly via 2-way radio
