CNC Operator

Job Requirements

• Set up and operate CNC spinning lathe and tube laser equipment according to production requirements.
• Complete routine maintenance of machinery.
• Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
• Perform part changeovers, machine setups, and tooling adjustments.
• Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Remove and replace dull or damaged cutting tools.
• Identify and resolve CNC errors or operational issues.
• Inspect parts during and after production to maintain quality standards.
• Load raw materials and stack or stage finished items.
• Assists cross-functionally to contribute to team effort and shared success.
• Maintain tools and equipment in working condition and a clean work environment.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

• 3+ or more years of relevant experience.
• Operational and programming experience on CNC spinning machines, CNC mills, or tube laser equipment preferred.
• Technical or associate's degree in machining/related field or programming field highly desired.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to accurately use a micrometer and calipers.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Highly organized; systems- and process-focused.
• Ability to multi-task and move multiple projects forward simultaneously.

Physical requirements of the job are classified as light to medium. Physical demand requirements are more than light work. Strength:
Lifting or carrying of 50 or more pounds. Continuous standing (8+ hours per shift).
