Quality and Production Supervisor

Overview

As Quality and Production Supervisor, you will head our quality and manufacturing programs to ensure safe animal feed is produced. You will report to the Plant Manager and have 2 direct reports.

Our QA practices are housed in our QMS (Quality Management System). With QMS, you can implement new policies as regulations change and maintain existing practices.

• Interact with production staff, providing coaching and training on quality standards, HACCP, and other regulatory initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and provide root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve issues.

• High School/GED
• 2+ years experience in QA in feed, food or related fields
• 1+ years of leadership experience

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMPs).
• Possess integrity in products, processes, and relationships.
• Interpersonal/training/coaching skills
• Analytical problem solving/root cause analysis.
• Ability to be insightful and act strategically and also tactically.
• Ability to handle customer complaints.

• Bachelor's degree in Feed Science, Manufacturing, Business or related field.
• QA in feed facility
• 2+ years of leadership experience

• FDA and regulatory experience.

Hours: Mon - Fri 9 am - 6:30 pm. Occasional weekend work required.

Salary Range: $70,800 - $106,200

In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
