Reads and follows written work instructions, SOP’s, and orders
Visually inspects finished parts for defects according to specifications
Perform repetitive hand work within rotation schedules
Operate a variety of packaging machines and small bench type power tools
Clips or trims finished parts using hand tools
Responsible for the operation of automatic machines, manual machines, and assembly processes.
Assembles finished parts with or without additional components
Count, inspect and package parts both boxed and bulk for shipping to customers
Monitors scrap and complete shift reports accurately
Accurately records product within tracking software
Assigned tasks and duties as required

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAbility to follow processes in assembly and packaging within the department and an understanding on how to resolve common issues associated with molding product. Prefer to have past experience with assembly and finishing.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concerns in situations where only limited standardization exists. May need help with interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employees frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and inside and outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The temperature in the factory may vary from 70 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter to 110 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer.
Employees may get dirty with grease and oil.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
