Precision Manufacturing Technician; Assembly, Press & Paint

Picture your shift kicking off with a clear set of build instructions in hand. You move from an assembly station to a press, then over to the paint line—checking part numbers, sizes, and finishes as you go. You count and label small components with accuracy, spot a potential defect before it becomes a problem, and keep production flowing safely and efficiently.

That’s a typical day for our Precision Manufacturing Technicians at Worthington Enterprises.

• Operate across multiple stations: assembly, testing, material handling, welding, press room, and paint line.
• Follow detailed production instructions to build quality parts safely and consistently.
• Identify defects and quality issues; take corrective action and escalate when needed.
• Accurately count, label, and handle small parts and components.
• Champion a safe workplace by adhering to all policies and procedures.

• Comfort with physical, repetitive work and standing for long periods.
• Sharp hand–eye coordination and excellent attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and job travelers.
• Familiarity with part numbers, sizing, and quality inspection methods.
• Nice to have: current forklift and/or crane licenses.

• 1st:
  Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• 2nd:
  Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• 3rd:
  Monday–Friday, 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.

Starting pay: $22.00/hour.
Shift differential: +$1.50/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Profit Sharing:
  Quarterly, with no cap.
