Peragon is seeking Experienced Production Operator candidates at our Shell Lake, Wisconsin facility, where we design, engineer, and manufacture American‑made truck bed covers and accessories.

About the PositionAs a Production Operator, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing our innovative products to life. Production Operators perform various functions in the manufacturing process, including tasks within the Fabrication, Finishing, and Assembly departments as well as general operational activities. 2nd shift hours 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Fabrication- Execute tasks assigned by Fabrication Team Lead
- Set up, operate, and tend multiple machines including CNC router, turret punch, press brake, and fiber laser to shape metal stock precisely
- Perform assigned fabrication support tasks, including sanding, material stocking, and basic maintenance
- Execute tasks assigned by Powder Team Lead, including starting up the powder line, hanging parts, inspecting parts coming off the line, and conducting quality checks
- Monitor and adjust wash line chemical concentrations, maintaining equipment and ensuring quality coatings
- Oversee oven temperatures and part curing for precise powder coating application
- Complete assignments from Assembly Team Lead, such as rail, panel, and kit assembly
- Provide assembly support through tasks like cutting, folding, and stapling boxes
- Assist with maintenance of tools and equipment, contributing to efficient operations
- Support parts order fulfillment, including assembling, boxing, and shipping
- Keep work cells clean and organized
- Engage with teams in continuous improvement activities
- Consistently champion Peragon Culture and Core Values
- Operate pneumatic tools (rivet guns, presses, sanders, clamps, fixtures)
- Safely handle sharp tools like razor blades, rotary cutters
- Stand on concrete floor for an 8‑hour shift, adapt to overtime
- Move supply carts, hand carts, pallet jacks with materials
- Follow Standard Operational Procedures with proper training
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrate agility in movements (kneel, stretch, bend, etc.)
- Strong hand‑eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Basic skills in math, reading, counting, and writing

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
