Location: Elm Grove

This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating CNC and production equipment to ensure reliable plant operations. The position offers hands‑on technical work, exposure to advanced machinery, and the opportunity to build long‑term skills in mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance within a stable manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across a wide range of standard and complex manufacturing equipment.
  • Utilize precision diagnostic tools such as meters, micrometers, torque tools, oscilloscopes, and laser alignment equipment to perform accurate repairs.
  • Interpret drawings, schematics, and specifications to complete equipment alignment, spindle and bearing work, and component fitting.
  • Fabricate and machine replacement parts as needed, including complex setups and precision layouts.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot plant electrical systems, wiring circuits, and control panels in accordance with applicable codes.
  • Diagnose and repair electronic controls using relay logic, ladder diagrams, and digital control principles.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or service providers when specialized technical support or parts information is required.
  • Support equipment installations, removals, and upgrades, including millwright and wiring activities.
  • Assist other maintenance team members with advanced troubleshooting and corrective actions.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required and respond to emergency repair needs outside of standard hours when necessary.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands‑on experience setting up and operating machine tools to produce repair and replacement components.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed engineering documentation.
  • Working knowledge of basic math and trigonometry.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training, plus approximately four to five years of related maintenance experience.
  • OSHA‑related certifications or safety training preferred.
