Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Packer to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.

• Schedule:
  
  5-day workweek – Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Overtime:
  As needed, additional hours are available before or after scheduled shift
• Work Environment:
  Culture forward, team-oriented, safety-first, free coffee, nice lunchroom

• Prepare product for shipping to customer, performing any required packaging, labeling, etc.
• Ensure customer order and product match. Ensure product is ready to ship according to customer delivery requirements.
• Perform inventory counts on replacement parts and shipping supplies.
• Cross-train with other departments including receiving, shipping, and packing orders.
• Ensure the highest quality standards while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements
• Utilize Netsuite ERP System

• Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-3 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, memos, and shipping reports.
• Ability or willingness to work with computers for daily data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to successfully pass forklift certification.

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day.
• Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to Electro Magnetic Fields. EMF fields can interfere with some medical implants, including pacemakers.
