Overview

Industrial Painter – Join Team Omni

Omni Glass & Paint is looking for full-time Industrial Painters to join our dedicated team. Since 1967, we ve built a strong reputation as one of Wisconsin s largest and most trusted paint and glass contractors. From manufacturing facilities and warehouses to hospitals and office buildings, our projects span a wide range of industries and structures. Monday through Friday, first shift, with flexible start times as early as 6 am. Pay ranges from $20 to $35 per hour, depending on experience. We offer an excellent benefits package, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment.

What You ll Do
  • Apply protective coatings to interior and exterior surfaces of commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, or sandblasting; fill cracks and holes; mix and apply coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Some projects may involve applying specialty finishes or using custom techniques.
  • Set up ladders or scaffolding, follow all safety procedures, and wear proper protective gear including respirators, hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
  • Travel to job sites throughout Wisconsin with occasional overnight travel may be required.
What You ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver s license, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read basic instructions and blueprints, perform simple math, and solve on-site challenges.
  • Ability to work at heights and flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or nights when project demands require it.
  • Previous painting experience—especially in industrial or commercial settings (1–3 years)—is preferred, but training is available for motivated candidates.
