Experienced Meat Cutter - $10,000 Hiring Bonus

Join Performance Food service as an Experienced Meat Cutter. The position offers a $10,000 hiring bonus for qualified applicants (eligible only if not a recent PFG employee).

• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 6:00–7:00 am start (no weekends)
• Pay: $20 per hour and above based on experience
• Full‑time, entry‑level management and manufacturing role

• Review work schedule and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Prepare supplies and clean tools.
• Cut and portion raw meat/seafood by hand or with machines.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with GMP and USDA standards.
• Check weights, label portions, and manage scrap.
• Assist packers and sanitizers as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain equipment.
• Complete required paperwork at shift end.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of meat‑cutting or related experience.
• Knowledge of portion control and meat cuts.
• Ability to stand 8–10 hrs, lift up to 60 lb regularly, and move tubs over 100 lb occasionally.
• Comfortable working in damp, cool environments (40–45°F).
• Pass a post‑offer drug test and background check.
