Detail Ship Edging Assistant Team Leader

We are looking for our next dynamic Assistant Team Leader. KI’s Manufacturing Plant in Bonduel is seeking a second shift Assistant Team Leader for our High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Detail//Shipping/Edging Department.

• Assist the Team Leader in completing orders on time and act as the point person for assigned areas to maintain production.
• Lead and assist a team through motivation, team building and conflict resolution.
• Backfill Team Leader when not available.
• Understand the complete edging, detail and shipping operations.
• Meet all cell‑based measures and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Read shop orders and open orders utilizing the BPCS system.
• Ensure the cell is staffed according to labor standards.
• Promote, understand and communicate all goals set for the department regarding safety, quality and production.

• Good hand/eye coordination and above average attention to detail.
• Ability to work on feet for a minimum of 10 hours per day, up to 6 days a week when demand is high.
• Attention to quality, safety and production efficiency.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience with manufacturing machines/equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of the BPCS system is a plus.
• Successful completion of a drug screen required.

This second shift position runs primarily 2 p.m. – 12 a.m., with overtime and weekend work during peak production (summer months).
