Job SummaryThe component stager is responsible for supplying components to the production line and removing finished goods back to the warehouse.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for pulling and staging material/components to the assigned production line and returning all finished goods to the warehouse audit area.
- Pull sub‑components from inventory for work orders, create kits and move components to the floor.
- Manage inventory transactions in IQMS whenever moving components or finished goods.
- Responsible for line clearance at the end of work order and return of unused pieces to inventory in IQMS.
- Properly put away, track, pick and pack inventory.
- Properly package and label parts and product.
- Load, unload, or stack materials and product.
- Measure, weigh or count materials and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Production experience.
- Ability to read and interpret DHRs (Device History Record).
- Strong attention to detail with good counting and mathematical skills.
- Possess the written, verbal and interpersonal skills necessary to work both independently and cooperatively.
- Competent in the use of computers and various software, with the ability to access and enter data as necessary.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience in injection molding.
- Knowledge of IQMS.
Shop III
- Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods.
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally.
- Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously.
- Exposure to machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection.
- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer.
