We are looking for a Mechanical Designer to join our growing team and help bring new ideas to life through creative, efficient, and accurate mechanical design work.
Whatyou’ll do
- Create and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and drawings using Inventor.
- Develop and refine designs for manufacturability, ensuring all parts and assemblies are optimized for production, fabrication, and assembly.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, machining, and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and functionality.
- Prepare and manage engineering documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), specifications, and revision control.
- Participate in new product development by transforming concepts into production-ready designs.
- Troubleshoot design-related issues and contribute creative solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
- Maintain drawing standards and ensure consistency across projects.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the design and engineering process.
- Mechanical Design Drawing Certificate
- Experience in mechanical design or drafting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Inventor (experience with AutoCAD or other 3D CAD software is a plus).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methods such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.
- Knowledge of materials, tolerances, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
