CNC Machinist 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist Job Description:

• Following process instructions, setup and operate various CNC and conventional machines and perform various machining operations according to customer specifications and drawings.
• Must be able to effectively utilize various measuring devices (micrometers, pin gages, etc.) to determine conformance to specifications and drawings.
• Train other machine operators and assist them on an as-needed basis.
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the work area.
• Contribute to team activities which would include process and safety improvement.

Company Overview:

Our company can provide completely machined aluminum castings. Seven Haas and Hyundai vertical CNC machining centers are utilized to provide precision milling, drilling, tapping, and boring to consistently conform to complex part specifications. Our programmable fourth axis indexing tables allow rotational access to multiple sides of a part for single set-up processing. Multiple spindle and single spindle drilling and tapping units complement the CNC machining centers, providing additional capability for machining of single or uniquely-oriented features.

As we continue to expand our CNC Machining Department, we have recently added the Brother TC-32A vertical CNC machine in addition to the Haas & Hyundai machines.

Current Work Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday, 10 hours
• Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for overtime based on production requirements – currently working Fridays and a couple Saturdays a month
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 12:30am
