Operation Excellence Manager

The Operation Excellence Manager will drive and support Continuous Improvement activities being undertaken throughout the business. This role is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of OINA’s Operational Excellence Programs across all OINA sites. The manager interacts cross-functionally both internally and with external customers/vendors.
Key Areas of Responsibility- Facilitate the development and implementation of OINA’s Operational Excellence program.
- Manage the relationship with a third‑party partner assisting in implementing Ornua’s Operational Excellence program.
- Support Ornua Operational Excellence activities within business units as required (including manufacturing, warehousing, back office, external supply chain, maintenance and quality).
- Ensure KPI alignment across all five OINA sites. Hold all sites accountable for timely, accurate information.
- Manage Red Zone Productivity program including controlling all administrative functions.
- Utilize lean tools to identify opportunities and successfully deliver continuous improvement projects/initiatives in line with business strategic goals.
- Support project teams on the delivery of specific continuous improvement projects.
- Provide Lean/Six Sigma belt training where required.
- Any other responsibilities deemed appropriate to the role.
- Facilitate operational improvement initiatives.
- Manage third‑party partnerships.
- Coordinate cross‑functional improvement activities.
- Ensure KPI reporting and accountability.
- Lead productivity program management.
- Apply lean methodology to deliver projects aligned with strategic goals.
- Provide training on Lean/Six Sigma.
- Travel to all OINA facility locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, manufacturing, science discipline or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean/Six Sigma qualifications or equivalent experience.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
