Sales Design Manager

Lakeside is currently seeking a Sales Design Manager responsible for managing customer relationships as well as managing the estimating and layout design process for our custom cafeteria service lines.

What You'll Do:

• Engage with customers to understand their cafeteria design needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Coach, mentor, and support a team of 3–5 Sales Designers executing the layout of design proposals
• Coordinate with production and design engineering teams to execute custom projects
• Optimize sales design processes using Excel, Net Suite, and CRM platforms
• Support trade shows and occasional site visits (not greater than 25% travel)

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in design, engineering, or business preferred.
• Takes initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for solutions.
• Ability to develop creative design solutions through advanced CAD and mechanical design skills.
• The ability to read and interpret complex specifications, quoting and creative problem solving is required
• Excellent professional communication, organizational, follow-through, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience leading a creative and technical design team
• Strong customer collaboration and team coordination skills
