Overview

Position Description
Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full-Time Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Sturtevant, Wisconsin.

• Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manage day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour of production.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; capable of working in a diverse environment.
• Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and initiative; punctual with good attendance.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; able to stand for long periods; able to work safely.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
